Wisconsin Uprising Archive Mission Statement

The mission of the Wisconsin Uprising Archive (WUA) is to collect and preserve materials related to the democratic uprising that started in Wisconsin in February 2011. Examples of materials include, but are not limited to, videos, photographs, pamphlets, and audio. The materials will be accessible to all online with the goal of advancing the awareness of events to the general population as well as for educational uses by teachers and students of all ages. A further goal is to aid the production of documentaries about the events of the time by becoming a permanent repository in partnership with other institutions.

The Wisconsin Uprising Archive Committee

WUA is a committee of WYOU Community Television. It is comprised of WYOU board members, librarians, and community members. It is run on a volunteer basis and anyone is free to attend meetings.
